New Anime 2026: Release Dates, Seasons & Where to Watch
Wondering what new anime is coming out in 2026? This guide tracks confirmed premieres, returning series and anime movies still ahead this year, with release dates, platforms and links to AniNextUp’s detailed monthly calendars.
Updated October 17, 2026. The current schedule below focuses on confirmed releases from October through December. A premiere date means the first announced release for that title; a Japanese cinema date does not mean the movie is streaming worldwide that day. Use the Fall 2026 anime calendar to search dates and platforms across the season.
New anime coming out in October 2026
October is the main Fall TV premiere month. Several shows have already started; these are notable releases still scheduled later in the month:

| October 20 | Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 | Netflix |
| October 23 | Maebashi Witches Movie: Emoemories – Blooming Witches | Japanese theaters |
| October 23 | Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery | Japanese theaters |
| October 25 | My Happy Marriage Special Episodes | Netflix |
For the full season lineup, dates that have already passed, and available viewing details, see the Fall 2026 anime release schedule.
Anime releases in November 2026

| November 6 | Demon’s Crest | Prime Video |

New anime and movies in December 2026
The current confirmed December list is shorter. The Apothecary Diaries: The Late Lady’s Treasure opens in Japanese theaters on December 11. That is a Japanese theatrical date, not a confirmed worldwide streaming premiere.

Are these all the new anime in 2026?
No. This page highlights releases still ahead from October to December and links to the Fall calendar, which also covers the season’s earlier premieres. It is a living release guide, not a complete archive of every Winter, Spring and Summer 2026 broadcast. AniNextUp adds titles when an official date or release window is confirmed, and labels regional availability separately where it is known.
