When does Shangri-La Frontier Season 3 come out?

The Japanese release date is January 10, 2027. The production announced the date on September 16, alongside the season's key visual. Episodes are scheduled for Sundays at 5 p.m. JST on the MBS/TBS network of 28 stations.

This is the Japanese broadcast timetable. An international streaming upload may follow a different clock time, so viewers should check the distributor's local schedule before converting the television time into a streaming appointment.

Where will Season 3 stream?

Crunchyroll has announced that it will carry Season 3. The platform announcement and the Japanese television premiere answer different questions: the first establishes an announced streaming home; the second gives the domestic broadcast date. The sources cited here do not establish a precise international release hour or dub timetable.

How many episodes will Season 3 have?

The production confirms two consecutive cours. That describes a run across two successive television programming blocks. It does not, by itself, confirm an exact episode count, a specific finale date or an all-at-once streaming release.

What is the new season about?

The official introduction takes Sunraku away from Shangri-La Frontier for a time. Oikatzo invites him to the Global Game Competition, where they join Pencilgon in the new VR fighting game Galaxia Heroes: Chaos. Their opponents include the powerful American team Star Rain.

For returning viewers, the shift changes the immediate goal from overcoming a game's monsters to competing against skilled players. The production's new exhibition material highlights that contest without requiring viewers to treat promotional interviews as complete episodes.

Official video: Nu2meg versus Lucas Garcia

The production released this pre-match interview on October 15. The characters discuss their state of mind, their opponents and the coming match. It is an official character video, rather than a full season trailer.
