The second cour of One-Punch Man Season 3 premieres in Japan in January 2027. The anime's official website confirmed the month on October 11, 2026. Watch the official Season 3 Part 2 trailer
The first promotional video for the second cour teases the next stage of the Monster Association conflict, including major confrontations involving Garou and the S-Class heroes. The new footage accompanies the updated key visual unveiled by the production.

What does the new key visual reveal?
The newly released visual brings together the characters preparing for the second cour's battles. Its composition emphasizes the clash between heroes and monsters and the looming confrontation involving Garou. The visual can be viewed on the official October 11 announcement. The image above is a still from the official PV, not a mislabeled key visual.
JAM Project returns with a new opening song
JAM Project will perform the second cour's opening theme, titled “Never Done ~Saikyo VS Saikyo~” (Japanese: Never Done～最強VS最恐～). The announcement includes a comment from JAM Project vocalist Hironobu Kageyama. The song's title evokes the series' conflict between overwhelming heroic power and terrifying adversaries, but it should not be treated as a plot synopsis.
What story will Part 2 cover?
Season 3 follows the struggle between the Hero Association and the Monster Association, with Garou's role becoming increasingly important. The second cour continues that conflict after the first cour's conclusion. Promotional footage highlights high-stakes confrontations, but the production has not released a complete episode-by-episode outline. Specific manga chapters and exact adaptation endpoints should not be presented as confirmed.
Is there a new studio or staff change?
J.C.STAFF is the animation studio behind Season 3, following its work on Season 2. The October 11 announcement focuses on the release month, promotional video, key art and opening theme; it does not announce a studio replacement for Part 2.
Where can you watch One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2?
The confirmed information in the latest Japanese announcement concerns the January 2027 television broadcast. International streaming schedules, regional platform availability and exact simulcast times for the second cour may differ. Fans should wait for a distributor announcement covering their country rather than assume the previous cour's licensing arrangements apply unchanged.
