In a World Full of Zombies I'm the Only One Who Doesn't Get Attacked has a new main trailer, an official key visual and two more confirmed Japanese voice actors. Publisher Frontier Works announced the material on October 10, 2026, giving viewers a fuller picture of the adaptation before its scheduled January 2027 broadcast in Japan.
The update does not establish an exact premiere date, an episode count or an international streaming partner. Those details should remain open rather than be inferred from the release month.
When does the zombie anime premiere?
The official anime website identifies January 2027 on AT-X as the Japanese broadcast window. AT-X is the named Japanese broadcaster, not a guarantee that the show will appear on a particular international service. Neither a precise broadcast day nor a worldwide simulcast schedule is provided in the October 10 production announcement.
For a calendar reminder, January is currently the most specific defensible date. AniNextUp will add a day and time only after an official schedule is published.

The new promotional video is a main PV, following the earlier teaser. It is hosted on YouTube and linked directly by Frontier Works, rather than uploaded by an unofficial fan channel. The embedded player below opens the publisher-linked trailer.

New cast announced for the anime
The October announcement adds Rikako Ito as Tokiko Kurose and Marie Miyake as Sayaka Makiura. They join the previously revealed central performers Wataru Kato as Yusuke Takemura and Yuno Azuma as Mitsuki Fujino.
Who is making the adaptation?
Kazuya Fujishiro directs the television anime, with Yasushi Hirano overseeing series composition. Kayo Shimoyama and Makuto Okimi are credited with scripts, Megumi Ishihara with character design, and ISAO with music. Animation production is credited jointly to Acca effe and Frontier Engine. These roles come from the official Japanese staff listing; they should not be confused with unannounced English dub credits.
Opening and ending songs confirmed
The opening song is “No Reaction” by Retbear, featuring the anonymously credited vocalist unknown Vo: 0in. Retbear is a music project associated with producer Kairiki Bear. The ending is “Tsukikage” by the performance group Itsuka Saisei.
Both songs were announced alongside the new trailer. Their inclusion in the publicity package is confirmed; a full soundtrack release date was not supplied in the sources reviewed for this guide.
What is the story about?
Yusuke Takemura discovers that a zombie outbreak has devastated the world around him. Unlike other survivors, however, he appears not to attract attacks from the infected. That unusual advantage changes the usual survival-horror premise: instead of simply fleeing danger, Yusuke must decide what to do with his relative freedom while other people remain at risk.
The story originated in novels by Rokuro Uraji, illustrated by Saburo, and also has a manga adaptation drawn by Chihiro Masuda. Official promotional material presents the series as a darker, adult-oriented zombie action story; viewers should not assume it follows the tone of a conventional all-ages adventure.
What the new key visual confirms—and why it is not reproduced here
An original production key visual was released on October 10 and can be viewed on the official anime website. Its provenance is verified, but a publicly displayed image is not automatically licensed for republication. Until explicit permission or an applicable reuse license is established, AniNextUp is withholding the cover rather than substituting generated artwork, a homemade SVG or an unrelated thumbnail.

Where can viewers watch it outside Japan?
The confirmed broadcaster is AT-X in Japan. No international streaming platform, territory list or local release time is established by the October 10 official announcement. Even though some anime news outlets cover the project, their reporting does not by itself constitute a streaming license announcement.
What should fans watch for next?
The next material update would be an exact Japanese premiere day, additional broadcast or streaming arrangements, an episode count or new production announcements. If those details emerge, this article should be updated at the same URL rather than creating a duplicate news page.
