Frieren Season 3 Release Date: October 2027 & Golden Land Arc

When will Frieren Season 3 be released?

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 3 is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in October 2027 on the Nippon TV network. The official March 27, 2026 announcement confirms the month and the Golden Land Arc. It does not give an exact day, broadcast hour or episode count.

What is the Golden Land Arc?

The next season is titled 黄金郷編, commonly rendered in English as the Golden Land Arc. Its announcement spotlights Macht of the Golden Land, described as the last and strongest of the Seven Sages of Destruction. That is the extent of the story detail needed to understand the teaser without discussing later manga events.

What is the latest official update?

The production began a Season 3 countdown-art campaign on September 26, 2026. Its first illustration, by character designer Keisuke Kojima, features Frieren, Fern and Stark and marks the year remaining until the planned broadcast. The countdown announcement continues to use the October 2027 window.

Is there an official Season 3 trailer?

The March announcement released the Macht teaser visual shown above. At this guide’s October 18 check, the official video catalog listed earlier-season promotional videos; we could not verify a Season 3 trailer there. This page will add a playable trailer once a season-specific official video is confirmed.

Where will Frieren Season 3 stream?

The Japanese announcement names Nippon TV’s network for television. It does not establish an international streaming service or a global simulcast timetable. Crunchyroll’s announcement coverage confirms that it carries the first two seasons; that alone is not a Season 3 distribution confirmation.

What should viewers know before the new season?

Frieren follows an elven mage’s life after the defeat of the Demon King, exploring what her journey with human companions means across different lifespans. The official introduction places Season 3 after the two completed seasons. Viewers catching up can follow those in release order before this continuation.
