Pokémon Horizons Anime Unseals Treasures of Ruin in Latest Wonder Voyage Arc Trailer

New Wonder Voyage trailer spotlights the Treasures of Ruin

A new trailer for Pokémon Horizons: The Series puts four Legendary Pokémon from the Paldea region in the spotlight. Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu, collectively known as the Treasures of Ruin, appear in the latest preview for the anime's continuing Wonder Voyage storyline. Crunchyroll reported the trailer on October 9, 2026.

Who are the four Treasures of Ruin?

The quartet first appeared in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games. Wo-Chien is a Dark/Grass-type Pokémon, Chien-Pao is Dark/Ice, Ting-Lu is Dark/Ground, and Chi-Yu is Dark/Fire. The games associate the four with ancient objects and seals, providing background for why their appearance is important to a Paldea-centered story. The trailer's release does not by itself establish the outcome of their role in the anime.

Where does the trailer fit in Wonder Voyage?

The Wonder Voyage arc began airing in Japan on May 22, 2026. Its story continues the journey of Liko, Roy, Dot and Ult alongside the Rising Volt Tacklers. Earlier official promotional material introduced the arc's new adventures and characters; the October preview shifts attention toward the consequences of the Treasures of Ruin being unsealed.

When does the next story begin?

Japanese coverage of the new trailer identifies October 16, 2026, as the start of the upcoming Paldea-focused story. That is a Japanese broadcast date, not a confirmed worldwide streaming release date. Viewers outside Japan should check their regional Pokémon broadcaster or streaming service for availability rather than assume the same schedule.
