New Anime on Netflix in October 2026: What to Watch
AniNextUp’s guide to notable anime releases on Netflix during October 2026.
Netflix’s October 2026 anime slate is led by several confirmed returns. Netflix has announced The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 for October 1 PT / October 2 JST, Blue Box Season 2 for October 4 with weekly episodes, and My Happy Marriage Season 2 Special Episodes for October 25.
October highlights
- The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 — October 1 PT / October 2 JST, new episodes weekly
- Ranma 1/2 Season 3 — early October
- Blue Box Season 2 — October 4, new episodes weekly
- Rooster Fighter — October 10
- Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 — October 20
- My Happy Marriage Season 2 Special Episodes — October 25
What to watch first
Blue Box Season 2 is one of the month’s major weekly returns, while The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 opens the month with another romance-focused sequel. Later in October, My Happy Marriage adds special episodes on October 25.
Weekly releases vs. one-day drops
Not every Netflix anime follows the same release model. Blue Box Season 2 and The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 are confirmed for weekly episodes, while specials and other titles can use different schedules. AniNextUp tracks each title separately so a monthly Netflix list does not imply that every show drops its full season at once.
