Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Release Date, Streaming & Latest Details
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is set to premiere in Japan on October 11, with a special advance screening at New York Comic Con on October 8.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premieres in Japan on October 11, 2026, at 11:15 p.m. Japan Standard Time. The official Dragon Ball pre-broadcast guide published October 9 confirms the broadcast time and the first Japanese streaming services. This is the ENHANCED edition of Dragon Ball Super, with newly added and redrawn footage and a reconstructed narrative, according to the official New York Comic Con report.
Release date
The Japanese premiere is scheduled for Sunday, October 11 at 11:15 p.m. JST. The first episode was screened in advance at New York Comic Con on October 8. The official report says the screening drew a crowd of approximately 3,000 attendees, with English dub cast members Jason Douglas (Beerus) and Ian Sinclair (Whis) taking part in the panel. This screening was a preview event, not a public streaming launch.
What is confirmed?
Akira Toriyama is credited for the original work, story and character design. The announced opening theme is “ONOGAMI” by MEGATERA・ZERO, while VK Blanka performs the ending theme.
Where to watch
Japan: The official October 9 guide lists Prime Video and U-NEXT as the fastest streaming options, starting October 12 at 12:15 a.m. JST, after the October 11 television broadcast. Other Japanese streaming services are scheduled to follow.
Outside Japan: Crunchyroll's Fall 2026 lineup lists the series for supported international territories, but the October 9 official Dragon Ball report says North American streaming platforms and timing will be announced separately. These statements are not fully aligned. We therefore do not treat an October 11 Crunchyroll launch time in North America as independently settled. Check the regional service schedule for final confirmation.
Why this update matters
The new official update adds an exact Japanese broadcast time, named Japanese streaming platforms and the first on-demand availability window. It also makes the international timing caveat important: a Japanese broadcast date does not guarantee simultaneous streaming in every region. The October 8 New York Comic Con screening confirms that Episode 1 has already received a preview, but does not establish a general release time outside Japan.
