Where to watch

What is A Certain Dark Item about?
The story follows ITEM, a four-girl elite unit that performs work Academy City cannot acknowledge publicly. Kinuhata Saiai specializes in nitrogen-based defense, Frenda Seivelun uses explosives and traps, Takitsubo Rikou tracks ability users, and Mugino Shizuri is one of Academy City's seven Level 5 espers.
The official introduction centers on the appearance of a mysterious “fifth” girl. Her encounter with ITEM draws the group into a deeper part of Academy City's underworld, making the series a darker companion story within the larger A Certain franchise.
What has been confirmed?
The official anime site has released a main promotional video and confirmed both opening and ending theme performers as part of the pre-premiere campaign. J.C.STAFF handles the animation production.
